About the role:
This is a part-time, remote position with the potential to develop into a full-time role as the Apostolate continues to grow. As a writer and editor, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals, creatives, educators, and Religious who are committed to providing truly Christ-centered holistic healthcare. We work to empower people to grow in wholeness and become the best versions of themselves: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Essential duties:

  • Produce well-researched content for publication online (Social media, Web design, Graphics, Electronic publishing, Multimedia production) and in print 

  • Follow Reform’s editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the marketing/content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials

  • Write and edit related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, Instagram, class scripts, and blogs

  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online

    visibility of a website in search results 

  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the Reform's mission to inspire ideas and content

Who we’re looking for:

Our ideal Content Writer has a proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio. S/he has strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management, and is also able to work independently. S/he has good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary, and has the ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously. The Content Writer is expected to work well with a team, remaining open to the value of others’ ideas and expertise.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English or related field.

  • 3-5 years experience in publishing and/or editing preferred

Work Schedule / Availability:

Must be available to work minimally 3 days per week on the Reform team schedule (8:00am-4:30pm EST) with flexibility for evening or weekend hours to accommodate writing deadlines and creative writing space.
