This is a part-time, remote position with the potential to develop into a full-time role as the practice and Apostolate continues to grow. As a Functional Medicine Consultant, you will work with a team of healthcare providers who are committed to providing truly Christ-centered holistic healthcare. We work to honor God’s design of the human body by emphasizing nutrition, lifestyle, and natural therapeutics that align with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Essential Duties:
Work directly with Reform clients to identify the root cause of their health concerns, make treatment plans that incorporate the pillars of Reform, and always consider the whole person - body, mind, and soul.
Read and interpret functional medicine labs for Reform clients - primarily gut and hormone testing.
Meet weekly with the Consultant team to review cases and provide insight and support when necessary.
Contribute to research and creation of functional medicine-specific educational content, courses, and materials.
Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal Functional Medicine Practitioner is experienced in gut and hormone health. S/he is proficient in interpreting functional medicine labs. S/he is comfortable providing care virtually and willing to work in a remote team environment.
Minimum qualifications:
Preferably ND, MD, or DO who is passionate about the health of the whole person, body, mind, and soul.
3-5 yrs experience in functional medicine and client consulting
Work Schedule / Availability:
Must be available to work minimally 3 days per week on the Reform team schedule (8:30am-4:30pm EST) with flexibility for evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules when necessary.
