Finding Myself Through Him

I entered 2020 with hope, thinking that this year was going to be life-changing. As the COVID-19 pandemic began, I went from non-stop busy to isolation and quiet unlike anything I have ever known. In the quiet, the Lord began to shelter me in His love, holding my hand and revealing wounds I had long forgotten or did not know existed. By November I realized it was definitely a life-changing year, but God’s plans were so much greater than I could have ever imagined. The message became clearer over time: this was the ultimate call to let go of my life, my plans, and my dreams to embrace the amazing life He has planned for me. I put my trust in Him and knew he would show me the way.

One morning while enjoying one of my favorite podcasts, I heard Jackie’s voice and a discussion about Reform Wellness. Less than five minutes into the podcast, I knew I needed a spot in this program and put my name on the waitlist. I sensed that the Lord was offering me an opportunity of a lifetime to learn new tools to keep Him at the center of everything and walk the narrow way.

The six weeks through Reform Online LIVE was a journey of letting go of who I had become and embracing who He has made me to be. The weekly class quickly became the highlight of my week. The class provided a community where we all had different stories, but all had the same desire to become who He desired us to be. My accountability partner has quickly become one of my closest friends, and I am so thankful for her. 

Through Jackie and Reform, God spoke to me and gave me practical guidance. Little changes to my everyday routine have had a significant impact on my life. The tools for each pillar provided the road map I needed to change from just doing what was possible to allowing God to do the impossible. The daily routine of asking Him to be in the center of my life has made all the other changes happen with ease and feel natural. My “yes" has allowed me to trust more in Him and truly learn what it is to be loved, to be ME.
