Reform Your Home and Family
“When I found my daughter drowning in her own struggles in the wake of her dad’s death, I was at a loss of what to do or where to turn.”
I first met Reform when I was dealing with loss and grief after my late husband’s passing. Going through Reform Wellness at that time was a life changing experience and their practical support enabled me to thrive during a very difficult time.
When I found my daughter drowning in her own struggles in the wake of her dad’s death, I was at a loss of what to do or where to turn. She was in need of healing physically, emotionally and spiritually and, as a Catholic, I knew one type of healing could not occur without the others. While many means of treatment include addressing one aspect of the body or the other, there isn’t much out there that focuses on the person as a whole, as an integrated being of body and soul within the order of God’s creation. If I turned solely to the Church, I would be missing out on the scientific and practical means that my daughter needed to heal her body and if I turned solely to medicine, I’d be missing out on the chance to address the ways God desired to work in her soul through this trial.
Reform opened the flood gates of Christ’s grace and healing in our daughter’s life and in our family. Through obedience to Reform’s nine wellness pillars, through the grace of the Sacraments and a rightly ordered way of life, Avila found a new foundation of healing.
One aspect communicated between us often was the virtue of obedience – a virtue that helped us stay the course when things got tough. Reform was able to offer fruitful perspectives on our unique challenges and these perspectives had a big impact on my daughter’s overall healing.
I’m not sure I can effectively communicate how much of an impact Reform had on my life, my daughter’s life, and our family. In conjunction with things we were already doing at home, they offered an approach that took our faith to the next level. Reform challenged us when necessary all the while meeting us where we were, with the tools they had developed over years of working with thousands of people. If another family is discerning Reform for themselves, I would say “dive in!” and trust the mission.
Thanks to Reform, my daughter found the healing she needed; she was more in love with Our Lord, more sure of herself as a woman of Christ, and more in tune with God’s Will for her own life after implementing her learnings of Reform. I will be forever grateful to them and forever grateful to God for bringing Reform into our lives.
In Christ,
